Do you accept dental insurance?
Yes. We work with many different dental insurance plans. Our office staff will assist you with the billing and paperwork necessary for you to maximize your benefits. We do not participate in any managed dental insurance plans, but most patients are able to see us as an “out of network provider”. Each dental plan is different, but most patients only pay a deductible or co-pay for their treatment.
Does Dr. Furgurson see children?
Yes, we are a family dentist and we see children as well as adults. We suggest bringing children to our Chapel Hill dentist office for a visit to meet the dentist and tour our office. Children need routine care just like adults, Dr. Furgurson recommends that children age 3 and up see the dentist every 6 months for a dental cleaning and exam. This will help prevent tooth decay and other common childhood dental problems.
Do you place implants?
Dr. Furgurson and Dr. White offer complete care for dental implants. They are Fellows of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, having displayed exceptional knowledge and skill in dental implant treatment. We offer a range of dental implant services, from single tooth implants to “All on Four” denture implant solutions. In many cases, we can perform the surgical placement of the dental implant in our Chapel Hill dentist office. In other cases, Dr. Furgurson orWhite will work with a local specialist to coordinate your treatment plan.
Do you offer cosmetic dentistry?
Yes, Dr. Furgurson has completed extensive post graduate training in both cosmetic and restorative dentistry. Our cosmetic dentistry treatment plans are designed to meet your individual needs, goals and budget.
