Losing most or all of your teeth can feel overwhelming. Eating becomes a chore, speaking feels uncertain, and smiling in public may make you self-conscious. Traditional dentures sometimes fall short of restoring confidence and quality of life.
But what if you could walk into a dental office with failing teeth and walk out the same day with a full, functional, permanent smile?
That’s exactly what All-on-4® dental implants and Teeth-in-a-Day procedures make possible.

What Is All-on-4®?
All-on-4 is an advanced dental implant technique that replaces an entire arch of missing or failing teeth using just four strategically placed implants. Unlike traditional implants that require one post per missing tooth, the All-on-4 concept uses four implants to support a full set of replacement teeth.
Two implants are placed vertically in the front of the jaw, and two are placed at an angle in the back. This angled placement leverages the densest available bone, eliminating the need for bone grafting. Bone grafting is a common barrier for patients who have been told they don’t have enough bone for implants.
What Is Teeth-in-a-Day?
Teeth-in-a-Day refers to the immediate loading of your new teeth. With All-on-4, you don’t wait months for your final restoration. You receive a temporary set of teeth attached to your implants the same day as your surgery.
This means you never have to go without teeth. You walk into the office with failing or missing teeth and walk out with a fixed, functional smile. You can eat, speak, and smile with confidence on the same day.
The Benefits of All-on-4 and Teeth-in-a-Day
- Same-Day Results: The most significant advantage is immediate restoration. You don’t have to spend months wearing temporary dentures or avoiding social situations. You leave with teeth on the day of your procedure.
- No Bone Grafting Required: Because the implants are placed at specific angles to maximize contact with existing bone, many patients with bone loss can still qualify for All-on-4.
- Faster Recovery: With fewer implants and a minimally invasive approach, recovery is often quicker than traditional implant surgery.
- Cost-Effective: Replacing an entire arch with individual implants is expensive and time-consuming. All-on-4 uses just four implants per arch, making it significantly more affordable while still providing a permanent, stable solution.
- Improved Quality of Life: All-on-4 eliminates the slipping, clicking, and embarrassment of traditional dentures. You can eat your favorite foods, speak clearly, and smile knowing your teeth are securely anchored.
Who Is a Good Candidate?
All-on-4 is typically recommended for patients who:
- Are missing most or all teeth on the upper or lower arch
- Have teeth that are failing due to decay, gum disease, or trauma
- Have experienced bone loss and have been told they aren’t candidates for traditional implants
- Want a permanent alternative to uncomfortable dentures
Good candidates have: Healthy gums, sufficient existing bone (even if limited), good overall health, and a commitment to maintaining their new smile.
The Procedure: What to Expect
Step 1: Consultation & Imaging: Your journey begins with a comprehensive evaluation. Digital imaging and X-rays are used to assess bone density and plan the precise placement of the implants.
Step 2: Surgery (Day 1): Local anesthesia is used to ensure comfort. Any remaining damaged teeth are removed, and four implants are placed into the jawbone (two in the front and two angled in the back).
Step 3: Immediate Restoration: A temporary set of teeth is attached to the implants the same day. You leave with a fully functional smile.
Step 4: Healing & Osseointegration: Over the next three to six months, your jawbone fuses with the implants in a process called osseointegration. During this time, you wear your temporary teeth while your final restoration is custom-crafted.
Step 5: Final Restoration: Once healing is complete, your permanent, custom-designed set of teeth is attached, giving you a smile that looks, feels, and functions like natural teeth.
